Does lucky bamboo develop flowers?

I have three lucky bamboo shoots (hereafter referred to as Thambo) growing in my home. I was researching root rot (to prevent it!) and came across a website that claimed that bamboo has flowers. It stated that some species of bamboo will flower once every hundred years and that some do it yearly. I couldn't find out much about lucky bamboo flowering. Will Thambo flower? Thanks!
