I can understand where you coming from because I too have struggled with this very same question for over 15yrs..I had no one to really talk to about it and just thought it was something wrong with me..but I came to realize that there are some good people out here..YES they are hard to find, but they do exist..I have also just learned to accept people for who they are and choose to be..and if they interrupt my happiness or complicate my life in anyway..I block them out and move on to the next one...I do know some people that have a diagnosis of social anxiety and they take medication..this also may help you..or maybe just talking to someone(therapist) about your feelings..I don't have a therapist, but I do talk to someone about those feelings I feel I can't share with just anyone from time to time..My final suggestion is to find something that you like to do sports, music, art, etc and try to join the group or club..this way it will be easier to start a conversation and meet new people..I hope things improve for you and you find what your searching for..Best of Luck..

I don't know the story of the Metal Gear Saga so much I mean I have played MGS with my my cousin over the years I still remember when I told him in MGS1 that although he will use stealth cameo in snow he will still be detected by dogs (sniff everything), I played MGS2 the demo only so I didn't get the story and MGS3 I only saw a couple of trailers and the boss fights. Why am I seeing variations in the reflected laser light when I look at the reflection from a diffuse surface?

Here is the experiment. I reflected my tripod laser off of a CFB at my home. I noticed a strange effect and turned the light out to see it better. As I looked closely, I could see small variations in the reflected light. They looked like tiny points of light within the reflection. My first feeling is that it was an effect of the light hitting the photo receptor cells on my cornea. The problem with that was that as I move one way or another, or change the angle of view, I am moving along with the reflected dots. Has anyone seen this in a lab somewhere?

Socially I am crippled. I have not had a real friend since the fifth grade. When I came to middle school my friends moved or did not come to the same school. I was left to fend for myself in an increasingly hostile environment. I was teased to no end for various things the most notable among them was for being gay. Now, at this point, I scarcely knew what the word meant, I knew only that it was disgusting, wrong and against God. This teasing lead me to hate gays more than the devil himself. I blamed them for my torment. By the eighth grade I was beaten into a state of submission. I had been beaten up physically several times and mentally everyday. I told my parents little of this as early on they proved to hurt more than help. I learned that it was not okay to be myself and the hardships that came with trying. In the long run I was on my own and the one thing that I wished for more than anything was to be invisible.Upon entering high school, I became adept at just that. I stayed in IB/AP cles and kept to myself. I haven't been teased since. I haven't had a friend since either. I am completely alone with the exception of my family. I love them all dearly but at the end of the day I am always sorely reminded that one day they will disown me. This is because my sopre year I found out that all of those cruel children had been right. I realized that I was gay. I didn't come to this conclusion easily either. I would find myself feeling things for boys that I was quite sure I was not supposed to feel. I then set out on a campaign of trying to stare at girls, trying to become infatuated with one. It was to no avail. I hated myself for feeling the way I did. It was like my life had been turned upside down, like I was the evil that I had despised for so long. The worst part was that I could tell no one my condition, I had no one to talk to. At present, I am a senior and nothing has changed. I have never been to a party, done drugs, been drunk, had or even kissed. Not that I really care (or even remotely desire experiencing some of the above) but that is the image commonly portrayed of the modern teenager is it not? I am coming to a point where I simply can't take being alone anymore. I want a real relationship, I want real friends yet I don't feel like I even know myself well enough anymore to try and get them. Not to mention everyone still ignores me as if I am not there. I really just wish that somebody cared. The fact is that I put myself in this position out of fear and now I don't know what to do or where to start.

Why does my singing voice sound different after having acute bronchitis?

On the 7th, I went to see the doctor and he diagnosed me with acute bronchitis. I had to take medication for ten days straight. I started singing lightly in choir cl on the 10th, and I have been singing only in cl since then. (I sing alto, so I didn't really have to hit the high notes.) However, when I sing, my voice sounds different from before I had acute bronchitis. I can't sing as loudly as before, my throat gets dry more easily, I get out of breath more easily, and I feel like I sound slightly nasally. What can I do to fully get my singing voice back?

ok, so i am going to be fighting at lightweight for mma. i was wondering what is the typical weight people cut down from. I am 5'9" and weight about 175 right now with 10-12% BF. How to get the baby to nap, please?

I have a baby boy who is 4 1/2 months old. I've been feeding him and am hoping to continue it for 1 year. He had been sleeping through the night for 5 hours, but he refuses to nap during day time. So, it's hard to schedule him (we'd tried to schedule him, but it didn't work) We've been trying to put him to bed whenever we see him yawn or look tired, but he refused to nap. I checked everything, he's well fed, had dry diaper. Some said that's because he doesn't know how to relax himself to sleep, so we sang to him, walked him around, rocked him, we wrapped him, shh him, did all the 5 Ss but he still ended up with historical crying before napping. I feel so bad for him. His napping and sleeping each day is about 10 hours total, I heard that the baby needs more than this for their brain developing. Is there any suggestion, please?

If you ask for it, they usually dont prescribe it because they think everybody who asks for it is just there because they want the drugs and are addicts. Ive been to lots of doctors for it, and when my prescriptions ran out, some doctors prescribed it again and some looked at me like I was an addict when I asked for them to prescribe it (after months of not having it, I wasnt addicted and showed no signs of addiction, although some people do get addicted very easily). Its better to just describe your symptoms, and let them come to the conclusion that you have anxiety. Dont just come out and say you have anxiety, if you want the medication. Some prescribe zoloft (anti-depressant) and I would avoid taking that if I were you. I wasnt happy with it, and she umed that my anxiety was caused by depression because I said I was anxious since my mom died and feared dying. It wasnt because of depression, it was just a fear of dying after seeing that, so she didnt quite understand and prescribed my zoloft, misdiagnosing me with anxiety caused by depression. BDP Questions?

Diagnosed w/ Borderline Personality Disorder in Sept 05. Also extemely prone to despression. I believe the BPD was result of a bad marriage, to a verbally abusive husband (though he loves me beyond life and is unaware of what he says...he is just stating 'truths' and trying to be "open"). I grew up with a verbally abusive (or was he just overtly strict?) father. In January, I went through devasting changes in my life and the BPD subsided, self-sontrol was easy. My therapist backed away & i don't know why, is it because i'm 'behaving' as such, so she feels she succeeded or is it because i made her think i didn't respect her (i was late and missed appts since jan, unintentionally). i've read about high functioning bpd, i was definitely low-functioning BPD until Jan. I read & try to be aware of my actions, so to understand my emotions more & not react, though that's always a job. Because i understand & feel "control", am i getting 'better'.?

MTU And Xbox Live Help?

I have had my job for almost 3 years and as of late my job duties and overall job satisfaction have decreased. My previous boss left in May 2009 and her replacement has basically decided that he does not require an administrative istant. He rarely speaks to me and rarely utitlizes my abilities. To go beyond that, any new ignments that he has he offers to someone else. Out of this large stimulus project we have, everyone else's job duties and responsibiliites have increased - except mine. I completed basic training my junior year summer which was a total of 10 weeks, I am a 19D or Cav Scout, and they are usually OSUT and I am just nervous because I recently graduated high school, and am leaving for kentucky again to finish my cav scout ait after being away for a year, i can p a 2,2,2 pt test and get 60% in all events, im just worried to know what its like to do cav scout ait after being away for a year. Peace can be difficult in such trivial situations as a simple dispute about which video game you like better. Just always remember that its not worth losing a friend for stupid little disputes that you may have. With patience, especially in school, if you excel in a cl that some struggle with, a good way to practice patience is to just ist those who struggle, and wait for them. Faithfulness: this trait is most demonstrated in relationships with family, friends, and especially in dating and marriage. Don't betray the ones you love, stay close to them and never hold grudges. in marriage and dating, even just looking at another man/woman with lust is pretty much the same thing as sleeping with them. self-control is a part of this. Pray if you need help from God for this. it can be hard not to lust after others sometimes, which is why we must always practice self-control. Just remain faithful to others, and also to God, which can and is a constant daily struggle for everyone. Gentleness: this applies to patience, peace, and kindness. Don't be harsh, use kind words. Goodness: to be honest, im not an expert on exactly what this is, but i believe it just has to do with your overall effort on trying to exercise these fruits daily. Remember, everyone sins, so don't get too down on yourself if you fail from time to time, but don't use that as an excuse to sin! try, try, and try again, and remember: praying helps a lot more than you'd think. :)

I got ronson lighter fluid for my zippo, is it normal for the lighter to get really cold when filling it?

I always filled my zippo lighter with the zippo fluid and i ran out so the gas station only had ronson which i got. I am putting it in like it says to, apply pressure and such and i see fumes coming out of the lighter, like you would see on a hot day, the clear blurry kind and i hear a sound like shhh (because the can is pressurized so thats normal) then the lighter gets really cold and starts to have condensation. Is this normal with this lighter fluid/can? I have to dry off my lighter after doing this then i tried to light it and it didnt light, did i just not get enough fuel?

Im 9 months pregnant and work from home 55 hours a week. I get done at 5:30. I told my fiance I wasnt feeling good and had the blues. He said he would come home and make chicken and veggies and take extra good care of me ext. He came home at 7 and I was laying in bed. He asked if I wanted a hot dog or cheezeburger. Need Help Naming The Farm?

We live on a five Acre property in the countryside of Australia, one hour from Melbourne. We have a lot of pine trees, two paddocks, a lot of brown atoos, funny looking pigeons/doves, a big garden, a big shed/bungalow, a chicken coop, and we're getting goats. I just have to say that the atoos shrieks are driving me crazy! And I don't want to have our last name in it, because it sounds weird and no one can pronounce it correctly. Naming the farm is up to me, and first I decided Fox Meadows, because the foxes are so annoying and dad saw one in the paddock. Then I wanted to call it 'The Damn Fox Farm' because the foxes had all ready killed 3 chickens and a duck. I don't know why I wanted to call my farm my (and my chicken's) worst enemy!
