Easing the discomfort for a temporary bridge?

So, I got a temporary dental bridge today, My novocaine is just starting to wear off, and I ate some pudding, took some advil to help with the soreness. I was wondering, what are some ways I can also help ease the soreness a bit? I'm only going to have it for two weeks, so it's not a terribly long time, I'm uming the discomfort will start to fade. Any ideas?
