Hmm...this is a touchy subject, and can be really hard to deal with. I think the best way to tell him you're not ready for marriage is to sit down with him and have a serious talk. Calmly tell him, "I do love you, and I do want to be with you, but I just need some time. There is no rush. As long as we are together, that's what matters, right? When I am ready to become your wife, I will definitely let you know. Just give me some time. I want to make sure we are both emotionally and physically ready for this. I don't want it to end badly." Just make sure to tell him how much you love him, and that you're waiting for marriage not just for you, but for him as well. I hope I helped!
