Would this be good for me? Is it too late?

I'm thinking about trying out beauty pageants! I'm 13 and thinking that it might help me to be outgoing! I'm very smart! Skipped a grade! I can play the cello amazingly! Love fashion! Will this hold me back from my dream of Stanford? Or help me? Is this a smart choice for me? I'm pretty and cute and all! I'm kinda small for my age though... But that adds to the cuteness factor :D Should I? What's involved?
