Cheap clean places to stay at in vancouver?

I will be attending the Owl City concert in July in Vancouver with 3 other friends (altogether it wil be 3 girls and one boy) and I am looking for a clean affordable place to stay. Right now I am looking at $34/night per person at the Same Sun Backpacker Lodge, the only problem is people have commented that they had bedbugs in their room. Are there any other Hotels, Motels or B&B's that are around the same price per person but cleaner?
