If you hear a politician talking about "manifest destiny," he or she is most likely talking about?

The politician would be talking about expanding the USA to the Pacific Ocean, and possibly, (gasp!) from Pole to Pole---that would be from the North Pole to the South Pole! The US expansionists in the 19th century really had plans for the USA.
